R24 NEWS
ABOUT
The Riverside 24 hour Relay will be an outstanding addition to your annual running calendar!
Teams of between 1 and 10 racers will complete as many laps as possible of an amazing, scenic and enjoyable circuit of approximately 6 miles in length in 24 hours.
The course winds through beautiful Riverside State Park and along the Spokane River before finishing back in our exciting “Home Base,” where teams will be allowed – nay, ENCOURAGED – to set up tent villages, and where the food, beverages and music will flow, making this a never-to-be-forgotten experience!
Great swag, support and a worthy charity help to make this one of the “don’t miss” running events in the northwest!
It’s hosted by Perpetual Motion (Permo) Events in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho!
AWESOME VENUE
The Riverside State Park is 6 miles (10 km) northwest of Spokane in Nine Mile Falls, Washington.
It’s Washington’s largest State Park with two rivers, several campgrounds, an Equestrian Area, ORV Area, Cultural/Historical sites, boating and paddling access, miles and miles of mixed use trails, and stunning scenery and views at every turn.
In short, ideal terrain for a Trail Run.
The Start/Finish will be at the 7 Mile Airstrip, with plenty of space for your whole team, including tents and RVs! Campers will be allowed to set up as of Friday night at 6:00 pm.
Camping fees will be only $25/team. Discover Passes WILL be required for the R24Relay this year! The course will wind through some of the prettiest areas of the park, including along the “Little Vietnam” portion of the Spokane River on the way back to the start/finish!
THE COURSE
It is primarily double track, with some nice single track thrown in…
a couple of hills, much of it flat…
it’s a beautiful track!
